Baita dei Cacciatori is the only "managed" support point existing in the Auta chain. Refurbished around 2015, it retains an authentic charm, embellished with tasteful details. It stands in a beautiful clearing at the foot of the Cima d'Auta Orientale and offers a magnificent view of the Biois Valley, Mulaz and the Focobon group. It is a place of passage for hikers who climb the Paolin-Piccolin via ferrata or who undertake the Alta Via dei Pastori, but also a point of arrival for an excellent lunch or a nice walk. Open from the end of May to the end of September, it has 8 beds divided into two rooms.

Pleasant tour done with 4 and 5 year old children, I recommend the uphill only variant as it is very steep and slippery, to go down the classic road better
