Struwwelpeter, part of the comic art in the Green Belt, has been standing in the Schwanheim meadows since June 2006 with his eyes glowing at dusk. Two balls in the right place transform the pollard willow into Struwwelpeter. The brilliant idea came from F. K. Waechter, an artist from the New Frankfurt School, inspired by the well-known Frankfurt children's book character. It's worth a visit!

Funny idea to give a special tree a "personality". Definitely a hiking motivation, especially for children.
