The ferry (line 61) takes you to the jetties on weekdays (but not very often). I think you can bridge the waiting time well.
For example, the view of the Rugenberg harbor or the Rugenberg lock there as a connection to the Köhlbrand is exciting. Or you can drive from here just under 2km to Maakenwerder Höft.
