By the end of the Green Road - one of the options for continuing the road to Medvednica from its west side is the Ponikve meadow. From here, you can continue to the left towards the Glavica Mountain Lodge and the Veternica cave, just across the paths 1 and 8 towards the mountaineering house Grafičara, and also the very top of Medvenica or right on the left (paths 1 and 6) towards Kameni Svatimi. Quite a lot of options for staying in the nature park.

Hiking

On the western part of Medvednica, at 500 m altitude, sarrounded by forest, a green meadow Ponikve is situated. As a proof of its Carst origin the wather from Ponikva's springs sinks on the western part and finds its way till Veternica cave. The best time for visiting is in spring, when you can find among various flowers 4 protected Croatian orchids.
