Tips
The normal route to the Rubihorn meanwhile runs from Reichenbach via the lower Gaisalpsee. A hike that is very popular with numerous outdoor activists. However, this route proves to be logistically unfavorable for the additional contact with the Gaisalphorn. The ascent from Oberstdorf via the Niederecksattel is the perfect choice for this project. Moreover, this approach is used by far fewer aspirants. Silence is a welcome effect here over long distances.
