Little Ingleborough is the high point on Ingleborough's southern spur. It is often ascended on the routes up from Newby and Clapham and rewards you with a fine view of the main summit. It is adorned by a rather impressive cairn and enjoys wide-reaching views of Ribblesdale and south-west to the Forest of Bowland fells.

Hiking

The cairn at Little Ingleborough marks the end of the steepest part of the ascent from Clapham, and arguably has a more impressive vista than from the summit. From here a flatter section awaits before a final pull to the summit
