Here in the forest there is a group of 14 burial mounds. Their location is no longer really recognizable. They were excavated in the 19th century by the Sinsheim archaeologist Wilhelmi. The finds date from the Neolithic Age (2,500 BC) to the Latène period of the Celts (350 BC). The finds today include in the Landesmuseum Karlsruhe, with the search words "Sinsheim Drei Bückel" you can admire them in the museum's digital catalog at: katalog.landesmuseum.de
