The owner of the Chapel of Our Lady has been the "Capellengemeinde Aulendorf e.V." (Aulendorf Chapel Community Association) since 1991. This association is comprised of citizens of Aulendorf with the goal of preserving the chapel.

The previous owners of the chapel, the residents of Südfeld, donated it to the newly founded association.
