In Höver cement is produced. The plant produces up to 35,000 tons of raw material per week. This amounts to up to 1.7 million tons of high-quality limestone marly per year. So far, the raw material is mined to a depth of 50 meters. The mining takes place at up to three mining sites, each of which is equipped with a hydraulic excavator, a primary crusher and conveyor systems.

Several times a year there is the opportunity for fossil hunting. For the dates a registration is required.
