A striking crossroads and landmark.
The original name was Coll de Mancor, as it was the pass leading to the town to the south, or simply Coll des Pilons, referring to the two stone pillars.
The current name originated in the early 20th century, when an electric line was laid over the pass. However, it no longer appears to exist.

At Coll de sa Linea there is a prominent stone signpost that shows you the way to the summit of Puig Massanella. Here you turn right and you start your steep ascent to the Puig de Massanella.

But this is not Coll de sa Linia, it is higher up, this is the intersection towards Mancor, ascent to Putx de n'Ali or Massanella, depending on the direction you take.
