The Steinle Chapel in Böbing / Kirnberg was inaugurated 42 years ago. The chapel is named after the sculptor Bartholomäus Steinle. He was born around 1580 in Steinlehof next to the chapel. Even before today's Steinle Chapel existed, there was an old little church almost in the same place. This chapel was consecrated in December 1844 and was owned by eleven homesteads. In the 1960s the dilapidated wooden building was dismantled, transferred to Glentleiten and rebuilt there.
