        Historic water mill near Rickelrath.

        From Wikipedia:

"Today the Molzmühle is located on the Mühlenbach, whose mouth area was changed in 1966. Because of the increasing risk of flooding for Wegberg, the Schwalm was regulated from the sewage treatment plant to the Molzmühle and moved 40 m at the Molzmühle. Since that time, the Mühlenbach has been the only water inlet to the Molzmühle The owner was compensated for the loss of the Schwalm water and the storage rights.

The mill got its name from one of its owners. Arnold Molz is listed as the owner in a lease from 1627. At the beginning of the 19th century the mill was driven by an undershot water wheel. Since the Schwalm in connection with the Mühlenbach had plenty of water, two grinding aisles and an oil press could be operated. In 1853 Wilhelm Josef Brinkmann was tenant of the Molzmühle for almost 40 years. Under his direction, the mill was operated for up to 16 hours a day. From the time of 1913 it is said that a second source of income was used by catching and selling eels. The eels were caught in boxes that were placed in front of the mill wheel. The entire annual rent of 1400 marks could be paid from the proceeds. In 1926 a widow Gripekoven was given permission to run a pub. The grinding operation was stopped in 1930 and the mill has been run as an inn ever since. "
