The Diemer Vijfhoek consists of forest, swamp, water and reed land. It is a beautiful piece of nature close to the city. From the edge of the Diemer Vijfhoek you look out over the IJ. There are all kinds of bird species in the Diemer Vijfhoek, such as bluethroats, cuckoos, and pearl divers. Keep your eyes open when you walk here, because the rare kingfisher has also been spotted here!
