Built in 1885/86 by Alexander Austel from the wealthy Austel family from Zwönitz › June 1945 to October 1946 seat of the Russian commandership › after that the villa was a residential building and doctor’s office › 1958 – 1990 an apprentice hostel for the agricultural production cooperative › today the building houses the »Parkcafé Austelvilla«, the rarity cabinet »Bruno Gebhardt« (honorary citizen of Zwönitz and passionate collector) and in its outbuildings, among other things, departments of the Zwönitz branch of the Ore Mountains
