Several CosmoGolems are already spread all over the world. With the one in Kruibeke, Koen Vanmechelen is ready for his 34th copy, and also the largest. The age-old story of the Golem is a symbol of universal children's rights and diversity. That is why a class from each Kruibek school attended the inauguration in May 2014. All children made something on paper and all those wishes and dreams were put into the wooden giant, with the help of the fire brigade. The children also decorated the wooden colossus and afterwards all received a speculoos in the form of the CosmoGolem.
