Vilnius can also be viewed from above. On a balloon trip, which is offered in suitable weather. If that does not work, the view from the restored castle with tower is recommended.

The construction of the church in 1604 started by the Jesuits. It was dedicated to the memory of the holy king Casimir. According to legend, 700 people rolled the cornerstone from Antakalnis to the city center. Today, the stone can still be seen in the facade wall. The church was completed around 1616, the interior was furnished in 1618. St. Casimir's Church is one of the earliest Baroque buildings in the city. It is believed that the church was designed by Povilas Bokša, and the work was done by Jonas Frankevičius. The church is characterized by the fact that in the 18th century under the leadership of Tomas Žebrauskas, a multi-tiered dome with a tall lantern crowned with a crown was built. It is the only dome of this size in all former LDK lands. in 1812 the church was badly damaged, turned into a warehouse. After 1830-1831 was rebuilt into a church. Later, St. Nicholas Cathedral was built here. The famous Russian writer Fyodor Dostoyevsky prayed in this church. 20th century in the first half, the church was returned to the Catholics, but in the Second World War it suffered again and was closed.
