The peculiarity of this cemetery lies in the fact that it is occupied by soldiers - mostly very young soldiers from the last contingent in 1945 - as well as prisoners of war, foreign workers and victims of the secret police. The history of this place is closely linked with the ammunition factory Hirschhagen, the labor education camp near Guxhagen or the refugee hospital near Steina.
If you don't want to exclude the lows of human culture from your interests, you should occasionally look at this place. The well-kept complex itself and its location still has something comforting about it.
