Bike Touring Highlight
The Bad Schussenrieder artist Theresia K. Moosherr has been designing a 'Schussenweg' since 2012, which she uses from the source to the mouth of the Schussen with her own roughly carved chainsaws. The individual stele-like works are called 'Wasserhüterinnen' because, according to Moosherr, they stand for the 'feminine as the preserver of creation'. Through this mystical imagination, the artist wants to create a consciousness "concerning the problematic handling of our foundations of life", in particular that of water, because femininity is "a symbol for a thinking that focuses on wholeness and the 'water for all', human and Nature as a common good must be preserved.
