This short but beautiful section uses the old route of the "Heubergbahn" including the car tunnel. The total of 18 kilometers long route can only be partially driven, which is why it is quite an up and down if you want to ride the entire bike path. Either way, the tunnel south of Gosheim is a highlight. There are plenty of information boards near the tunnel that provide information about the route.
