From up here you have a wonderful view of the Richtenberger See. The spot is particularly suitable for bird watching, as the lake has been a nature reserve since 2016 and kingfisher, sea eagle and many other bird species have settled again. It is hard to believe that the lake was completely drained in 1936 and only flooded again in 2006. Flora and fauna have now recovered - that's encouraging!

Lookout tower overlooking Richtenberger, the lake and Franzburg. Very drafty, if a little wind goes, and unfortunately messed with various graffiti, the tower offers a good overview.
