Schloss Lichtenstein
Heute stand ein Ausflug in die Schwäbische Alb auf dem Programm und ich besuchte das Schloss Lichtenstein, es ist das „Märchenschloss Württembergs“. Zuvor kletterte ich mit meiner Enkeltochter wagemutig im Abenteuerpark "Kletterwald Schloss" von Baum zu Baum und hatte viel Spaß dabei. Das heutige Schloss entstand 1840–1842 im neugotischen Stil auf Wunsch von Wilhelm Graf von Württemberg (später Herzog von Urach). Inspiriert wurde der Bau von dem Roman „Lichtenstein“ (1826) von Wilhelm Hauff, in dem die alte Burg eine zentrale Rolle spielt. Noch heute ist das Schloss im Privatbesitz der herzoglichen Familie von Urach.

Von der Recknitzmündung zur -quelle …
… und weiter bis Teterow. Diese Tour stand schon ewig auf meiner Liste – aber wie das so ist: immer kam was dazwischen. Heute war’s endlich soweit! Ich bin früh los (naja … 6:30 Uhr ist gefühlt früh) und mit einem freundlichen Rückenwind im Gepäck lief’s richtig gut. Schon um 13:30 Uhr, also nach genau sechs Stunden, rollte ich in der berühmten Bergringstadt ein – stilecht mit knurrendem Magen – und gönnte mir ein ausgezeichnetes Essen in der Teterower Teichmühle. Klare Empfehlung! Bei der Routenplanung hatte ich mir vorgenommen, möglichst oft an der Recknitz entlangzufahren oder sie zu überqueren. In der Theorie klang das super – in der Praxis endete das gelegentlich auf Wegen, die eher für Traktoren oder Rehe gedacht waren. Einmal wollte ich clever abkürzen und stand plötzlich mitten auf einer feuchten Wiese, umgeben von neugierigen Kühen und zweifelhaften Wegspuren. Abenteuer inklusive! Trotz kleiner Umwege: Die Tour war herrlich. Viel Natur, tolle Aussichten, ein bisschen Spaß am eigenen Ehrgeiz – und am Ende ein breites Grinsen bei der Rückkehr nach Hause. 116 km zählte mein Tacho!
