A little outside the two neighboring towns of Füssenich and Geich is the Alderikus Chapel, a very rare patron saint. One wing of the wooden gate can be opened; the lattice door directly behind it prevents entry, but allows a view inside. There is a statue of Our Lady on the high altar in the apse.

The local saint Alderikus enjoys high worship since the Middle Ages. In the northern district, at the end of the 19th century, a chapel was built, which today is shaded by a protected horse chestnut tree. The chapel was built over the Aldericus-Pütz, a small spring that, according to legend, sprang from where Aldericus, at the behest of God, thrust his shepherd's staff into the ground when he was feverishly panting for water. To this day, believers come to Alderikus day, February 6, to draw water from the fractured source, which is attributed a healing effect, especially in eye diseases.
