The chapel, built in 1946/47, belongs to the Catholic parish of St. Margaretha, Obereisenbach. The first chapel in Siggenweiler probably came from the 18th century. The little bell had to be delivered in 1942 and never came back. The renovation planned in 1946 had to be abandoned and the old chapel demolished. The new chapel was built largely with the same material as the old chapel. The patronage is on June 27th.
