Cycling
Steep unpaved starting climb of the official Shimano Valkenburg MTB route. Also a great alternative to the unpaved Cauberg climb (Heytgrachtvoetpad), which is now prohibited for cyclists. The path is technically challenging, not only because of its gradient, but also because of the loose stones in the middle of the path. At the top, however, a fantastic view over the climb and the lower Valkenburg awaits you. Well worth it!

Watch out for very deeply carved gullies at the end after heavy rainfall. At the top nice view over Valkenburg.
