At the Lingese Reservoir, humans and animals share the space equally. We are allowed to splash around in the designated bathing areas – and we should respect these rules. Many water birds nest at the reservoir. There are specially designated areas for them that we are not allowed to enter. These are the so-called "spawning and breeding areas." Here, for example, wild ducks, Canada geese, moorhens, great crested grebes, grey herons – and the occasional kingfisher has also been spotted.
