This park offers a great view of the Seattle skyline, but it's also something of an urban tidepooling gem: If you come at low tide and peek around underneath the lingering bits of dock from the wood treatment plant and shipwright shop that used to be here, you might see all kinds of small, aquatic creatures.

Please obey warning signs about the pier — it's closed because it needs to be rebuilt or replaced.
