The walls are made of brick with skirting boards and water moldings from Bentheimer sandstone. The original stone vaults and the medieval wooden roof construction are still present. In the choir part, the ribs are made of Baumberger limestone. The tower has a roof with a saddle roof shape that is quite rare for the IJssel region. The layout and use of the church space is partly the same as the medieval situation. For the furnishing of the church after the restoration of 1994, the situation as it was in the first half of the nineteenth century was chosen as the starting point.
