At the western tip there is a rather unspectacular lighthouse that can only be reached via a bridge. This 52 meter long structure spans a deep rock crevice and leads over to the other side at a dizzying height. From Mizen Head you can also see the lighthouse on Fastnet Rock on the southern horizon.

Hiking
50m long, reconstructed bridge in 2010, which spans 45m above sea level. The original bridge dates back to 1909 and was used to supply the Leuchtwärterhäuschens. Absolutely look to the right down into the lagoon area: Here, the seals look out of the water every few minutes.
