This small shop, built by our monastery school, has created numerous jobs in economically underdeveloped rural areas. These jobs particularly benefit our ordained sangha, who have to support themselves just as much as lay people.
We have noticed that the people of Päwesin and the surrounding area have grown very fond of this shop and enjoy the fact that the displays are brimming with products whenever they visit. The uniquely rich selection of bread, cakes, and much more, made by dedicated hands, now delights visitors from far and wide.
