The brewery, founded around 1530 in Lower Franconian Maroldsweisach, has been run by the Hartleb family for 200 years and is now in the sixth generation. A specialty of the preferably brewed, unfiltered, Franconian country beer is its bottling. The barley juice is not available in bottles and boxes as usual, but is only filled in party barrels and siphons of different sizes, or also brought in containers and sold on site.
In addition, a beer garden with products from the company's own slaughter, regular brewery tours and its own distillery attract numerous visitors from near and far to the community on the edge of the Haßberge Nature Park.
Opening times: Daily from 9 a.m., closed on Wednesdays.
