The Hotond-Scherpenberg, also known as 'The Roof of Flanders', is a largely wooded witness hill whose shape betrays what the landscape looked like in the past.
Put on your hiking boots and climb to the highest point of East Flanders. A winding footpath that occasionally turns into stairs takes you to a height of 150 meters and the source area of the Molenbeek. You will also encounter a 'Boom meter' on this route. Use the step and stay on top of the trees.
