The “Ammerfeld” nature reserve above Aschfeld hit the headlines in 2020 when an unknown person excavated around 250 Ragwurde there. Since our native orchids can only survive in symbiosis with the mushroom mycelium in the ground, probably none of them survived the excavation for a long time.
