The Way of the Cross from the village to the chapel, or the other way round, is just under 300 meters long and leads along a stepped path along the crosses and symbols of the Way of the Cross. It is easy to walk in and you have a nice view of the monastery.

This chapel, built in 1693 on a promontory above the abbey, is heavily inspired by the Santa Casa de Loreto; hence her name Notre-Dame de Lorette (Our Lady of Loretto). The chapel, which had been commissioned by the monks of Murbach to replace the ruins of a former chapel in the same place, was consecrated by the Bishop of Basel. Unique vantage point overlooking the Abbey of Murbach.
