The small Fröschl Chapel, also known as the "Rehkogel Chapel," was built in 1914 by Johann and Rosina Fröschl in gratitude for Johann Fröschl's recovery. Since then, it has served not only as a spiritual retreat on the way to Weistrach, but soon became an integral part of the region's religious life.
In 1939, it was expanded: The carpenter Gallhuber (known as Schodermeier), grandfather of the current Brandecker family, installed an altar table and benches. Since then, the chapel has also been a fixture in the annual supplication procession.
