This stretch of footpath provides a rather bracing walk when the wind is up although certainly blows the cobwebs away. Linking Keyhaven Marshes to the Pennington and Lymington Marshes, this raised path puts you right in the heart of this fantastic habitat. Keep your eyes peeled for the resident and visiting birds who will often be seen beak-first in the mud.

Very exposed, no shelter available if wet! If you have a dog with you be wary of letting it off lead if the tide is out ~ the mud/silt can be lethal, and the car journey afterwards may be highly perfumed...
