Since the 1970s, in the midst of extensive outdoor facilities, there has been a typical consumer department store, which can be reached via a few steps upwards. The TAUT-PASSAGE shopping center in Grünau has been located here since 1999. In front of it, Werner Richter’s sculpture “Cattle Breeder”, which was erected in 1984, greets a woman in an apron, holding a basket in her right hand (which today - after the construction of the TAUT-PASSAGE - is offset by a few meters).
