Tips

Cycling

The Ittertalsperre was built in 1923 for flood protection. The stored water is partly led to the Itter power plant via the upper water channel to Eberbach. The lake also serves as a fish pond.

Cycling

The Ittalsperre was necessary for the lower-lying Ittertal power station, today it only serves as flood protection.
