A real Roman has immortalized himself here. "Ianuarius Justinus" is probably the name of a Roman soldier who was stationed at the Limes and chopped stones here on the rocks. He engraved his name on the rock. That was over a thousand years ago. However, the red color dates from the year 2000. On the one hand, the red makes the inscription more visible, but the paint is also intended to protect against the effects of the weather.

The Justinus rock is a block of blue slate with an ancient inscription. It stands in the area of the village of Lindschied near Bad Schwalbach in the Aartal, directly on the Aartal railway at railway kilometer 25.7. Wikipedia
