A long a fairly tough climb on the little road through Dyfi Forest from Aberllefenni until you reach the A487 near the Cross Foxes junction. This follows NCN route 8.
The surface isn't great and it's narrow so best as a climb rather than a fast descent.

Road cycling

Came up here on loaded up trail bikes. Absolutely stunning climb but would probably say best to take the parallel gravel path if on an offroad bike. A tourer with a granny gear or a road bike would have the most fun here.

Two distinct sections, the bit leading up to the gate has long stretches of steep followed by stretches of 1-3%, and after the gate its stepped in 10-20% ramps. Think the steepest bit is just before the little waterfall.
