The asphalt is now new along the entire stretch and rolls great. Begins just behind the green border with Germany and extends to the connecting road Tisa-Sneznik. Low-traffic, very narrow road past sandstone cliffs with fantastic views of the mountains. Some crisp segments but doable. Something is dragging.

There are two catering options in Ostrov. Coming from Germany, the first road on the right leads to a 4-star hotel with a restaurant (signposted). From the main road, the 2nd path on the right leads to the campsite, where there is a simple restaurant (no signs). There is no other connection between the two restaurants except via the paved road.
