The small church in Eygelshoven in the municipality of Kerkrade in the Dutch province of Limburg. The church stands on a church hill surrounded by a wall and around the church are some old stone crosses on the church wall.
The church was dedicated to John the Baptist
The church should have been built in 1513.
Repairs were carried out in 1807 and 1820-1823, with the tower being partially renewed.
Today it is only used as a prayer chapel and has been a national monument since 1966.
