The Sint Jozef (St. Joseph) Chapel in Rimburg (Landgraaf) was built in gratitude for the safe return of the 21 boys and men from Rimburg who had fought the Germans in May 1940.
This memorial next to the Sint-Josef chapel commemorates the residents of the former municipality of Ubach above Worms who died in World War II. The soldiers of various nationalities who died in Ubach via Worms are also commemorated.

Hiking

The chapel is located in the middle of the Rimburgerbos slope forest in the transition from the Nieuwenhagen Plateau to the Worm valley on the Steenenbergweg and is accessible via a staircase. The chapel is dedicated to Joseph of Nazareth. The chapel was built in 1951 by the veterans of Rimburg who returned safely after the Second World War.
