Hiking

You can look east across the small island pond to the railway embankment. The trains crossing are completely fascinating: red, white, green, fast, slow, passenger trains, freight trains, and each with its own noise. A little park music à la Steve Reich, perhaps better than the overpriced stairwell concert in Augustusburg.

P.S. The person who commissioned the English garden, King Friedrich Wilhelm IV of Prussia in 1842, also liked the trains passing through.
