Hiking

The Lutheran Margraves' Church, together with the historic parsonage and the old ossuary (St. Rochus Chapel from 1400), towers like a small fortress above the village. The ornate stucco ceiling by the Italian court artist Jeronimo Francesco Andreioli shines in pure white – together with the golden details of the pulpit altar, the room appears incredibly flooded with light and elegant. Inside, there is a life-sized, carved baptismal angel from 1772, which also serves as a lectern.
