The 6 meter high waterfall of the Eyach near Albstadt-Laufen is popularly known as "The Blue Lagoon". It is still a remnant of the former Laufen paper mill. Up until a few years ago, children used to come here in summer to try their hand at “cliff diving”. For safety reasons it was later forbidden to swim in the lagoon or even to jump from the rock.
