Very close to Slap Virje is the Glijun spring, which provides a large amount of water all year round. The natural course goes over the Slap Virje, but part of it is also diverted over a canal (which is also a hiking trail for a certain length) to a small hydroelectric power station. The spring is beautifully located in the forest and is definitely worth a detour if you visit the waterfall.
