Just outside the municipality border near Bröleck / Büchel, another milestone in terms of “local climate protection” can be seen. NRW Environment Minister Remmel recently inaugurated Count Nesselrode's water power plant. The "new" mill fits perfectly into the Bröltal and meets all the requirements of nature conservation. In the inlet, a rake with a rod spacing of 12 mm should ensure that even smaller fish do not get into the turbine.
