The beaver (in Dutch "bever") was already extinct in many places - on the one hand because of its cozy fur (beaver hair was made into hats, beaver fur into fur clothing), but also because its habitat was cut and the small tree rodent, especially foresters, was able to bark moves. Fortunately, there has been a rethink here and so you can watch this animal in the wild - at least its structures ("fear"). Because no animal takes the saying "My Home is my Castle" as literally as this rodent.

Nice old school: beavers live monogamous. Since they do not hibernate, you can observe them all year round, including in January or February at courtship.
