  • The Kunradersteen, Kunrader Kalk, Kundersteen or Kalk van Kunrade is a yellow-gray limestone that forms the lower part of the geological formation of Maastricht. The appearance of the rock is very similar to the chalk cliffs or "Limburger marl", which is mined a little further south in the marl land, but the Kunrader rock is much harder.
