"The Olpebach flows south-east of Kürten in a south-westerly direction, an approximately 6 km long stream that rises on the district boundary to Lindlar and flows into the Kürtener Sülz behind Sülze. The Olpebachtal is a sparsely populated area with a charming hilly landscape, with fields, meadows , mixed forest and numerous small, nameless streams.In and on the Olpebachtal are Hembach, Delling, Schultheismühle, Olperhof, Olpermühle, Büchel, Kohlgrube, Eichen, Olpe and Kaas.

The Olpebach is named after the church village of Olpe, which includes 43 smaller districts as well as hamlets and farmsteads and is often referred to as the green heart of the Kürten community. One of the historic buildings worth seeing in Olpe is Haus Olpe, a knight's seat first mentioned in 1171."
